…Savages? Anyone who knows us knows that Style Etoile loves the Cure, but just about any good post-punk turns us on. So when we first heard Savages’ brooding, dark, haunting sound (think Echo and the Bunnymen meets Joy Division), we were hooked. This all-girl London quartet really brings the goth rock and if their first double A side “Flying to Berlin” / “Husbands” is any indication, these guys are here to stay.
